An excellent aerobatic mid-wing model with a 1 m wingspan. Thanks to its popularity, we have listened to requests and are now offering the EXTRA in a limited edition. The model features a completely new design, a slightly modified internal fuselage structure, and now comes with a (unpainted) pilot figure as well as a detailed 3D instrument panel in the cockpit.
Made for aerobatics
This aerobatic mid-wing model, inspired by a real aerobatic aircraft, offers improved dynamic flight characteristics that will excite both beginners in aerobatic flying and experienced pilots specializing in advanced aerobatics and 3D maneuvers. The model is distinguished by a modern and highly attractive airbrush-style design, giving it a fierce yet elegant look.
Model history
In 2008, we introduced the EXTRA VA-330, which became our first mid-wing model. Since then, we have continuously worked on improvements, and since 2011 we have promised to redesign the model according to current trends and requirements. After years of development, the new versions EXTRA 330SC and VA-330 II were introduced. We managed to preserve the excellent flight characteristics, which have now been further enhanced, meaning the model offers smooth and forgiving flight behavior that pilots can fine-tune to their liking.
What has changed compared to the older version? The model has undergone a near-complete redesign, with a special focus on the fuselage construction. We use modern CNC-prepared components and plastic parts such as the canopy and cowling. The new model also includes fuselage reinforcements for precise and stable flying, fiberglass and carbon parts, control horns, laser-cut details, a detachable landing gear, and other improvements. The latest refinements were made in January 2025, so we can proudly say that we are constantly working on and innovating our models to keep them up to date.
Forgiving, precise, yet aggressive
This model is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to get into aerobatic flying, as well as for advanced pilots aiming for demanding 3D aerobatics. For maximum flight precision and overall structural integrity, the fuselage is reinforced with plywood profiles already from the factory. Thanks to its well-balanced flight characteristics, the model handles both slow flight and faster aerobatic maneuvers. If you feel like really pushing it, the model will handle it with ease.
The design is modern and elegant, combining smooth lines with an aggressive appearance that guarantees the model stands out at first glance. Double-sided UV printing on all model surfaces adds a unique look.
Durability and pre-fabrication
The EXTRA 330SC and VA-330 II come with scale plastic parts such as a clear canopy and an engine cowling, complemented by numerous laser-cut components that ensure strength and low weight. The fuselage is factory-assembled, so you can look forward to a very convenient and well-thought-out building process. With a wingspan of 1050 mm, the model is easy to transport and fits comfortably in the trunk of a mid-size car without the need for disassembly.

Thanks to a high level of pre-fabrication, assembly time is about 3 hours, depending on your skill level.
Kit includes an assembled fuselage, a pair of wings, control surfaces, plastic parts, and complete accessories (wheels, horns, carbon reinforcements, etc.) needed to complete the model.

To complete the model, you will need:

Transmitter – at least 4 channels, but we recommend at least a 6-channel computer RC set that allows for independent aileron control, differential setup, flap mixing, exponential adjustment, etc.
